Who can measure the extent of My Divine Mercy?

Divine Mercy in Trinidad

Celebrating the Feast of The Divine Mercy, Trinidad,

Jesus: My mercy is greater than your sins and those of the entire world. Who can measure the extent of My goodness? For you I descended from heaven to earth; for you I allowed Myself to be nailed to the cross; for you I let My Sacred Heart be pierced with a lance, thus opening wide the source of mercy for you. Come, then, with trust to draw graces from this fountain. I never reject a contrite heart. Your misery has disappeared in the depths of My mercy. Do not argue with Me about your wretchedness. You will give Me pleasure if you hand over to Me all your troubles and griefs. I shall heap upon you the treasures of My grace (Diary, 1485).

As we prepare to celebrate the Feast of The Divine Mercy, this coming Sunday, April 23, 2017, let us contemplate these words of Jesus to St. Faustina. I would like to offer my readers a beautiful sung version of the Divine Mercy Chaplet to meditate on as we pray the novena prayer each day in preparation of Divine Mercy Sunday. Simply click on the words, Divine Mercy Chaplet that are highlighted above. May this chaplet draw you ever closer to the merciful Heart of Jesus.

Jesus told St. Faustina that this Feast of Mercy would be a very special day when “all the divine floodgates through which graces flow are opened.” (Diary 699) Our Lord made a great promise to all those souls who would go to Confession and then receive Him in Holy Communion on the Feast of Mercy, on the Sunday after Easter, which is now called Divine Mercy Sunday throughout the Catholic Church.

Jesus promised, “The soul that will go to Confession and receive Holy Communion shall obtain the complete forgiveness of sins and punishment.” (Diary 699) He went on to say “I want to grant a complete pardon to the souls that will go to Confession and receive Holy Communion on the Feast of My Mercy.” (Diary 1109)

The chaplet of The Divine Mercy, and other songs featuring quotes from the Diary of St. Faustina, can be found on my cd, “Divine Mercy Flood My Soul” on my website store

Thankfully, I will be back with my Trinidad family this coming Divine Mercy Sunday!

Blessed Easter and Divine Mercy Sunday graces to you and your families.
